Neanderthals, for the first humans to have been buried their dead, when neanderthals died they were buried with food and tools, they were often placed in a sleeping position, to take with them to the next world. A neanderthal body was found covered with sprign flowers, all this sugests that neanderthals were beging to develope ideas about life after death, and maybe other beleifs.
