Neanderthals, for the first humans to have been buried their dead, when neanderthals died they were buried with food and tools, they were often placed in a sleeping position, to take with them to the next world. A neanderthal body was found covered with sprign flowers, all this sugests that neanderthals were beging to develope ideas about life after death, and maybe other beleifs. Neanderthals were named after neander river.
